Natural Prostate Solutions
The treatment and prevention of prostate cancer has been one of the strongest focuses of my clinical practice. Over the years, I have seen first-hand that dietary and lifestyle changes can be some of your strongest tools in your fight. Dietary supplements are also vital, and a number of natural ingredients have shown strong clinical results in the treatment and prevention of prostate cancer.
Support for Many Areas of Prostate Health
Based on the latest peer-reviewed research on some of the most powerful botanicals and nutraceuticals showing promise in the fight against prostate cancer, I have developed a comprehensive prostate formula that works synergistically to specifically target prostate issues and promote healthy prostate cells, while supporting overall health and immunity. In my clinical practice, I have prescribed this formula to patients who are concerned about prevention, to those dealing with enlarged prostate, and to patients fighting aggressive prostate cancer. The benefits that this unique formula has shown in helping to maintain prostate health and function make it one of my top recommendations, along with Modified Citrus Pectin, for any man concerned about this important issue.

Prostate issues – and more specifically, the treatment and prevention of prostate cancer – are among the strongest focuses of my clinical practice. In addition to dietary and lifestyle changes, there are integrative treatment modalities that can help to foster better prostate health; natural supplements remain one of your strongest tools in the fight against prostate cancer. Below are my key recommended nutrients that have shown benefit in this area of men’s health, as well as with overall vitality.
Modified Citrus Pectin
One of my top recommendations is modified citrus pectin (MCP), which has been shown in clinical studies to lower PSA levels and inhibit tumor metastasis, even in late-stage cancer patients. MCP also blocks the formation of new blood vessels to the tumor, therefore cutting the tumor’s nutrient source. In addition, MCP safely and effectively removes heavy metals from the body, which can help greatly in the areas of health building and disease prevention.
- For active cancer: take 15 grams per day (5 grams three times a day on an empty stomach).
- For biopsy patients: take 15 grams per day (5 grams three times a day on an empty stomach) for one week before the procedure and two weeks after.
- For cancer prevention: take 5 grams per day ongoing.
Prostate Formula
In my clinical practice, I also like to use a multi-dimensional integrative prostate formula, which is suitable for daily maintenance at lower dosages, but powerful enough to be part of an active prostate cancer protocol at higher doses.
This formula includes a variety of clinically proven ingredients that work synergistically to support multiple aspects of prostate health. This unique formula combines a complex blend of herbs, nutrients and other natural compounds for hormonal modulation, alpha-reductase inhibition, xenoestrogen excretion and the promotion of normal cell growth.
Medicinal Mushrooms
Medicinal mushrooms have been extensively researched for their anti-tumor and immune-stimulating effects, and are absolutely essential for the maintenance of vitality. If you have cancer, beneficial mushrooms include Coriolus, Cordyceps, Reishi, Maitake, Agaricus, Phellinus and Umbellatus. For the sake of convenience, look for a balanced mushroom formula that includes all of these.
Supplement Doses and Action Properties
The list below covers some – but not all – of the key nutrients that have been shown to be effective against prostate cancer. Many of these nutrients work together synergistically to provide more benefit than a single ingredient alone. Also, in addition to helping fight prostate cancer, many of these nutrients support overall health.
