At Dr. Eliaz’s clinic, Amitabha Medical Clinic, in Sebastopol, CA, he and his team of integrative practitioners treat cancer and other chronically ill patients by addressing issues affecting the whole person in body, mind and spirit. Along with cancer prevention/treatment and chronic illness, Amitabha Clinic offers immune support, detoxification, hormone balancing, nutrition optimization, and vital energy enhancement. The Clinic also holds free meditation classes, and hosts regular guest lectures on various health based topics.
History
A native of Israel, Dr. Eliaz studied medicine at Tel Aviv University. While studying for his degree, Dr. Eliaz’s interest turned towards the role of alternative therapies – leading to his mastery of yoga, shiatsu, and acupuncture as therapeutic modalities.
After receiving his medical degree in 1986, Dr. Eliaz established a highly successful clinical practice in Tel Aviv, where he utilized his training in both Western and Eastern medicine. While maintaining this clinical practice, Dr. Eliaz pursued graduate studies in clinical herbology at Hebrew University of Jerusalem and classical Chinese medicine with teachers in Israel and Europe.
Dr. Eliaz moved to the San Francisco Bay area to continue his studies, and in 1991 earned his Master of Science degree through the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. During this time he also energetically sought out leading practitioners of alternative medicine to broaden his knowledge and experience.
Since 2001, Dr. Eliaz has led the integrative medical team at Amitabha Medical Clinic and Healing Center in Sebastopol, California.
